3D X-Rays (CBCT)

This new technology is a fundamental tool in planning surgical procedures. The 3D images provide us with detailed information about your teeth, bones and surrounding anatomical structures. A significant improvement over 2D X-rays. With 3D X-rays we can perform a digital implant simulation for the placement of implants. That is the only way we can tell whether there is enough bone around the implants and whether there is sufficient (safe) distance between the implants and the nerves and/or roots of surrounding teeth.

Intra-oral scanner

Conventional dental impressions are a thing of the past. Featuring advanced smart pixel sensors and a state-of-the-art dynamic lens, Sirona Primescan is able to process over 1 million 3D points per second, producing highly accurate, photorealistic images of the oral cavity. These images can be later transfered to our Cerec Primemill milling unit to fabricate veneers, crowns or bridges in a matter of minutes.

Computer- Aided Dentistry - CAD/CAM

We are proud to be one of the first clinics in The Netherlands to introduce the newest CAD-CAM technology in the market, the CEREC Primemill. Through the 3D registrations- obtained from the intra-oral scanner we can design veneers, crowns and bridges in a computer and automatically fabricate them by using this robotic milling unit in a matter of minutes. The obtained crowns are extremely precise, strong, highly aesthetic and can be delivered in a single visit to the dentist.

Digital Smile Design

The digital smile design protocol employs the latest digital techniques to help pre-design a beautiful, personalised smile.

The process includes video and photographic facial analysis to ensure consistency between your moving teeth, lips and facial features. This ensures that your final smile perfectly matches your facial features and personal wishes.

Dental Laser Treatment

Laser technology applied to dentistry is considered one of the most important developments of the 20th century. Its use has supposed a remarkable change, reducing surgical recovery time as well as well as enhancing the healing process.

PRECISION WITH 3D PRINTED SURGICAL GUIDE

An important step in developing an implant treatment plan is to use computer software to simulate the future position of the implants in the patient's 3D X-ray (CBCT). In addition, implants may be placed with or without a digitally designed surgical guide (3D printed drilling template). A surgical guide is a transparent bit and indicates exactly where the implant should be placed according to the digital implant simulation. This innovative technique improves the accuracy of the implant placement and reduces the total treatment time.
